The story
Jureca is the brainchild of Cleverest and Pieter Jan Van Aken, a practicing lawyer in Belgium. A lot of lawyers are struggeling with attracting new clients. The current laws in Belgium forbid common advertising techniques and mediums. We had to be creative.
A challenge we gladly accepted.
The first idea was to create an application that calculated your traffic fines. There’s no law that forbids you to advertise a tool. By doing this we would gain acces to people in need of lawyer advice. After doing a market research we we’re outpaced by someone else, who succesfully launched a similar tool.
The key to succesfull entrepreneuship is to never give up. Cleverest had gained some experience in platform marketing. A year before it launched “DeVastgoedgids” as a market learning of platform marketing.

The main issue with legal problems is that people don’t understand their own sitution in legal terms. They can’t explain their problem sufficiently to give lawyers an insight in the workload our price.
Common leadgeneration would therefore be of an inadequate quality to lawyers. The classic marketplace principle of generating price transparancy would not be possible.
Luckily we found the solution with the idea of “Post your case”. A smart form system that asks the right legal questions. These questions together would give the lawyer an adequate insight in the case, thus making price transparancy and comparison able.
With the concept validated we started building the custom made marketplace software.
The laravel framework delivers exceptional performance and personalisation, both essential for a succesfull marketplace.
Go to Market
SEO optimalisation: We created a full directory of all lawyers, sorted by specialisation and region. By creating multiple directories of different search outcomes we realized a staggering 10.000 indexed pages with Google prelaunch.
Content marketing: By assembling a team of seasond copywriter and instructed them in the art of SEO copywriting and compelling writing skills we created content on all major legal topics. Every category was written from a ebook perspective, optimizing both SEO value as creating conversion opportunities.
Legal: By reaching out to the legal officals we changed our go to market and revenu model accordingly. This gave us the unique advantage of being the first deontologicly correct platform in Belgium.
Advertising: To outperform our competitors in the long run we created campaigns that maximize our adrank. If you partner up with Cleverest, we’ll share our secrets.
Conversion optimalisation: We created different CTA copy and USP’s depending on the users activity and search on our website.
